Friendly Farm Restaurant – REVIEW

If you’re from Baltimore County, you will for sure be familiar with this famous restaurant. Since 1959 Friendly Farm Restaurant has been serving family style meals in a farm style atmosphere.

Luckily for us, it just happens to be Baltimore County Restaurant Week. Not that we needed an excuse to go there, its always a treat when there is a discount on top!

Once you sit down, you are greeted with a tray filled with yummy starters like Baked Hot Apples, Cole Slaw, Cottage Cheese, Apple Butter, and the most amazing sugar rolls you will ever eat. If you’ve ever eaten here you would know all about these sugar rolls. They are basically doughnuts smothered in sugar. GIVE IT TO ME!!!!

Shortly after, dinner is served. Their menu ranges from fried chicken and shrimp to pork chops and strip steaks. They are most known for their lump filled crab cakes – my favorite. You’re probably already full at this point, but then the unlimited sides make its way to the table. Items like French fries, green beans and corn. Did I mention that the sugar rolls flow the entire meal?

Just incase you aren’t beyond full and practically sick to your stomach, your server rolls off the list of Hershey’s Ice Cream that also comes with your meal. Enjoy coffee and tea if you would like.

If you’re looking for a good “foodie” meal, head to Friendly Farms Restaurant. In the summer time, you can even walk the grounds and feed the animals on the premise by their gorgeous lake. It’s the perfect place to bring the family to celebrate a birthday for special occasion.  Either way, do yourself a favor and head to Friendly Farm now.

Recommended. FIVE STARS
