One of my go to side dishes is Oven Broiled Parmesan Asparagus. It”s so easy and tastes delicious. The best part about living with a chef is that I can have my favorites whenever! Here is Jeff’s go to recipe.
Ingredients:
- Asparagus (fresh, one bundle)
- Salt & Pepper (to taste)
- Fresh Garlic (one tablespoon)
- Parmesan Cheese (quarter cup)
- Olive Oil (to taste)
Directions:
- Preheat broiler to high. Place foil or parchment paper over rimmed baking pan.
- Clean the asparagus and trip as needed.
- (BLANCH) Boil water, add tsp. of salt. Boil for two minutes. Place asparagus in ice bath.
- Season asparagus with salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese, fresh garlic and olive oil. Place on tray.
- Place in broiler for four minutes, until cheese starts to brown.
- Remove from oven, serve, and enjoy!
