This morning I visited a new, to me, spot in Lutherville, Maryland. Only a few miles away from Towson, in Baltimore County, lives the most amazing BISCUIT spot.
Rise Biscuits and Donuts, claims to have THE BEST DANG BISCUITS AND DONUTS IN BALTIMORE, and they aren’t that far off.
After walking in, the friendly staff greets you and gives you plenty of time to view over the menu. I’m glad they didn’t rush me, because I could have stared at that menu all day. WHAT A HARD DECISION!
Shortly after, we made a decision and decided to go with The Southern Biscuit; southern fried chicken smothered with pimento cheese and bacon – YES, PLEASE! We didn’t stop there. We had to try a few donuts from the beautiful case that was displayed upon walking inside. What a treat! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious – definitely a treat and not the most healthy meal, what so ever! But hey, it’s Friday and we earned this baby!
If you are ever in the Baltimore County area, this is a must stop place. Feel free to sit and stay a while. They even have a few tables in their main lobby. And if you’ve ever eaten at a Rise or plan on visiting, DM me – I would love to hear about your travels and experiences.
